Palak Rice

Take equal quantities of rice, chopped spinach (palak) and Grated Cottage cheese (paneer)

  1. Add ½ tsp of cumin seeds to ½ tsp ghee and let it crackle
  2. Add rice and sauté for about 3 minutes
  3. Add spinach, paneer, salt and 1 cup of water
  4. Pressure cook for about 2-3 whistles
  5. Serve with fresh yogurt

  1. Thanks a lot for this simple yet delicious recipe. I was trying different things for my 10 month old darling Krishnav and I tried this recipe today ( just made a smll modification by adding masoor dal ) and the pulav tasted yummy . he liked it a lot. I need to keep presenting new recipes to him , because he gets bored pretty soon. But thanks for this wonderful recipe. He liked it a lot.
