Wheat porridge

Make things interesting for your baby by getting variations to his/her meals…..

Broken wheat / dalia – 1 tbsp
Dates – 2 nos (deseeded)
Milk – ¾ cup

  1. Cook broken wheat with dates in about ½ cup of water in a pressure cooker for about 3 whistles. Cool
  2. Blend this mixture in a mixer along with ½ cup of milk till smooth in texture
  3. Transfer into a pan and add ¼ cup of water and the remaining milk
  4. Bring to a boil and stir continuously avoiding any lumps
  5. Serve lukewarm

*you can try out the same recipe with other cereals like oats, millets etc
